Weekend artisans, meet your new resource for handmade projects: Williamsburg DIY boutique Treehouse. Proprietors Rebecca Lee and Siri Wilson prop out the retro, subterranean space (which was a speakeasy in the days long before Bedazzlers) with such throwback touches as a Lite-Brite board, antique furniture and vintage Vogue pattern books, making a cheerful backdrop for sewing and crochet classes. For those too busy to stitch and bitch, ready-made goods from the shop’s many emerging labels—including 31 Corn Lane’s Holly Hobbie–inspired totes ($48) and Stencil 1’s Ford Ranchero wall-design templates ($10)—will provide instant gratification.
