Description
Williamsburg is a haven for hipsters, as is this circa-1997 beauty shop. Unlike many of the city’s salons, Mousey Browns doesn’t use assistants, apprentices or beginners, ensuring that each cut is quality. The ’40s-era music playing in the background sets the tone for the four stylists’ specialty—classic, retro cuts—but they’re also whizzes at creating modern and glam styles. The staff is strongly anti-blow-drying and -flat-ironing and will teach you how to love the natural curls and waves of your hair. Cuts with shampoo and basic drying are $55, highlights start at $65 and bang trims are $15. Appointments are strongly encouraged.Hours

This is the place to get good hair color in Brooklyn. I have been jacked up (and ripped off) by almost every other salon in Williamsburg. These guys are pros , and not crazy expensive. Big kisses to Mousey Brown Salon !
