Opening Ceremony
Description
Opening Ceremony offers a stylish trip around the world in a tri-level, warehouse-size space gussied up with grape-colored walls and crystal chandeliers. The name references the Olympic Games, and each year the store assembles hip U.S. designers and pits them against the competition from abroad: Until autumn 2009, Japan is the focus, with works from the likes of Hiromi Tsuyoshi, Nude: Masahiko Maruyama, and John Lawrence Sullivan on offer.
Hours
Mon-Sat 11 am-8 pm; Sun noon-7 pm.
