Club H Fitness
Description
Hell's Kitchen's first high-end gym, Club H, is a swank 20,000-square-foot facility that has everything you'd find at the average Crunch—TVs on every cardio machine, a spinning room and a full roster of classes. There are also additional luxuries such as plentiful natural light, a steam sauna and a NuKitchen café. “As a privately owned facility, we cater to members, not CEOs and shareholders,” says owner Craig Laskow of the gym'ms mom-and-pop feel. And of the facilities: “It's not a down-and-dirty gym; we want you to have a sexy experience.”
“As a privately owned facility, we cater to members, not CEOs and shareholders,” says owner Craig Laskow of the gym'ms mom-and-pop feel." Truly a joke! Truly disappointing.
Staff's got attitude, and any requests are humored but ignored. No matter that, what's worse, management stiffed me of 2 months membership -- after going ahead and canceling my membership , they did not honor prior approved freeze; neither letting me use the service I paid for nor refunding me. 2 months can be forfeited just like that? They did not refund me anything until months after cancellation and only partial. Ignored my communications, no effort to resolve matter, totally blew me off.
Its a great facility! I joined 2 months ago and love the overall atmosphere. This is very important so I actually show up. Im kind of a "clean freak" and really appreciate how well the club is maintained.
I would avoid this chain of gyms at all cost. The staff is incredibly cocky and self centered. They have no respect for straight people.
