Four Seasons Hotel
Description
One of New York’s most opulent hotels, the Four Seasons hasn’t slipped a notch in its two decades in business. Everybody who’s anybody, from music-industry executives to politicians, continues to drop in for a bit of New York luxury. Renowned architect I.M. Pei came out of retirement to craft its sharp geometric look (in neutral cream and honey tones), and the rooms—which include deep-soak tubs and furnished terraces—are among the largest in the city. (The three-bedroom Royal Suite measures 2,000sq ft.) At 682 feet (52 stories), the Four Seasons is New York’s tallest hotel, and from the higher floors the views are superb. But it’s the pampering service that keeps the elite coming back for more.
