Description
Christo needs no last name: The single-monikered stylist was a legend in curls long before his salon and Curlisto botanical product line launched in 2002. Meet with Christo (known as the King of Curls) for a consultation ($100), during which he’ll help you develop a game plan and decide which style best suits you. Or jump right in and splurge on a cut with the King for $395; cuts with other stylists start at $95. Need inspiration? Check out their handy how-to-style videos for four different types of hair, which are available for free on their website. And be sure to check for workshops with Christo who’ll teach men and women how to manage and love their curls.Hours

I have never been to a salon where I actually learned how to really take care of my curly hair, until now. Temeeka colored and cut my hair beautifully and then gave me a thorough explanation on how to take care of my hair and how to use hair products, whether my own or the Curlisto System, the right way. She also showed me how to keeping it looking good through the whole week. I finally know how to tame my crazy curls. Thanks Tameeka and staff for improving my look! -Nora
I hated my hair since I had to deal with it, especially in the morning, my hair were out of control. My friend brought me to the salon "Christo Fifth Avenue" fro free consultation, and I tried the products from Christo Fifth Avenue; my is not a problem for me anymore. My hair curls look healthier then ever. I can say that now, " I am the master of my hair". ^^
I’ve been looking for a stylist forever, someone who can handle my curly hair, someone who does great color, someone who's willing to listen but will also offer suggestions, etc. A friend of mine recommended Alice at Christo Fifth Avenue, she does AMAZING color and cut my curly locks perfectly! Subtle layers that really compliment the way I like to wear my hair. So happy to have finally found a terrific stylist. I would recommend Alice to anyone and everyone. Two thumbs way up. Bravo!
Slava is an artistic genius in the way that he will look at your overall 'style', face shape and listen intuitively to your wants and/or concerns in a haircut. The way he cuts, shapes and creates leaves a finished product which is absolutely "off the charts"! I have been to Christo Fifth Avenue now 7 times and would not go anywhere else.
Before I knew Christo, I was so nervous and scared to try something new. I got an amazing hair cut and died my hair black, a total change from what I have had for too long. It was literally the perfect hair cut. You can see that he has had a lot of experience. The hair cut was perfect because he really looked at the texture and natural wave of my hair and worked around it to make it perfectly the way I wanted it. I can trust Christo with anything now!
I was so disappointed, it was the absolute worst hair cut I have had in 32 years. The price was high and my stylist (Slavie), as far as I could tell had no clue what he was doing while cutting my hair, and couldn’t explain to me how to style my own hair (oh and the “styling explanation” coast extra).
