What’s black and white and chic all over? If you guessed Chris Chase Salon, you’re correct! (Damn, you’re good.) This dual-chromatic space is dressed with black midcentury modern furniture, white Lucite swivel chairs, an enormous crystal chandelier and shiny white floors, which are clean enough to eat from. Take a seat and get a haircut (from $120 for women, $85 for men) or color job (from $120) or treat yourself to a Shu Uemura Ceremonies, a series of scalp-cleansing and conditioning treatments
