Description
This tightly packed restaurant serves British comfort food that’s a salve to homesick expats. Solid renditions of bangers and mash and Welsh rarebit are worth braving the squeeze, and a Sunday evening special of savory roast beef with fluffy Yorkshire pudding and bubble and squeak draws local Anglophiles. The adjoining shop vends U.K. imports ranging from Cadbury chocolates to ornate teapots. Just $30 gets you a fresh pot accompanied by finger sandwiches, cakes and scones.

This place is very cool and tightly packed, but don't go there just for tea (which is $4.50) because there is a $10 minimum per person.
