Description
This cavernous Vietnamese spot by Michael Huynh (Bao Noodles) improves upon the locations previous tenantthe dated Pan-Asian Rain. Showy yet thoughtful cookery includes a duck-and-turnip hash starterfluffy turnip cake and duck confit topped with a wobbly poached egg and duck bacon. A handsome red-snapper entrée is also a hit: Fried chunks of fish and sweet-and-sour bites of pineapple and tomato are nestled in a deep-fried carcass. For dessert, skip the chewy yucca waffle in favor of the simpler pandan flan, unctuous with condensed milk.

On a recent night I went to bar bao. Always wanted to go in but the space looks very expensive. After walking into the place I was impressed by the proffesional staff that seemed very happy to have me as a customer. Although I had dinner alone. I was treated like royalty the Manager a handsome Male stopped by to chat and tell me how happy they were to have me there. The waiter answered all my questions about the menu without any hesitation and on the way out I was thanked by everyone.
