The food: excellent. Hands down the best Gnocchi I've ever had. The service: horrendous. The bartender had the nerve to tell us "you have 30 seconds to order before I refuse to serve you." We had ordered - not our fault he didn't know what Patrón was, even when pointed out. The waitress/manager were equally rude. I think Ciaobella has great potential, but if Mr. Proietti expects to "attract young Yorkville residents" and create a "neighborhood feel," he should treat those locals with respect.

My wife and I were excited to check out this new restaurant in our neighborhood. We were greeted by a rather rude hostess. The decor was appealing and modern but the tables were much too close to one another. We could hear every word of the conversation at the table next to us. To make matters worse, the restaurant was understaffed with waiters. The food was average. The service was too slow. Too bad we will not go back to this restaurant.
