Description
One of the pioneering restaurants in the local foods movement, this paean to all that is seasonal has maintained its charm—and culinary edge—since it opened in 1990. The airy yet intimate downstairs dining room, with its honey-colored wooden tables and creamy walls, is a mellow space that allows diners to focus on the food. The knowledgeable and relaxed waitstaff is happy to reveal the contents of the restaurant’s changing seasonal dishes. Carnivores will savor the enormous portion of luscious duck breast, which comes nice and rare, and is crusted over with salt for a satisfying crunch.

Mon–Thu noon–10:30pm; Fri, Sat noon–11pm; Sun 6–10pm.
