Description
Chef Marc Meyer and Vicki Freeman (Five Points, Cookshop) replaced their defunct third restaurant, Provence, with this subway-tiled seasonal-American spot. The menu isnt particularly challenging: Self-consciously wholesome dishes include forgettable spreads (chicken-liver pâté, rabbit rillettes) and lukewarm grilled scallops served with yogurt, baby bok choy, and flavorless cubes of zucchini and squash. Choose bettera fine grass-fed burger, superb steamed clams and juicy fried chickenand you can enjoy a meal here, despite the contrived hominess of it all.
