Description
Jean-Georges vet Josh Eden flies solo at this cozy neighborhood bistroa worthy alternative to nearby Raouls. Though the ho-hum wine list needs work, Edens haute American menu is competent and consistent. The showstopping mac and cheese is topped with a
panko-Gruyère crust, while short ribs appear braised and lavished with jus, or ground into a top-notch burger. Desserts dont hit the same high notes, but no worries: Shortys isnt the place for the full three-course buckle-loosener.
