Description
The winning aspect of this South Slope gastropub is definitely the pub. With expert drinks like the Ramos Gin Fizza gin, cream, lemon and egg-white nip whipped to perfectionit runs the risk of overshadowing the kitchen. Though the bistro fare is spotty, the buttermilk fried chicken offered a surprising coupjuicy meat jacketed in a salty, satisfying batter. Locals, could do worse than a nibble at this neighborhood joint.

I love this place and its friendly laid-back vibe. Most of the food I've tried has been good too (I especially like the white bean dip and the perfectly crispy and salty shoestring fries that are always served hot out of the fryer..the perfect bar snack). Try the Plymouth gin gimlet, it's as good as it gets for a refreshing drink that still packs a bit of a punch. If I still lived in the neighborhood I'm pretty sure I would be here at least a couple of times a week.
