But the Chop House, at the heart of Times Square, is the Heartland empire’s flagship. The beer, once brewed on the premises, is now made at a Brooklyn facility; with five year-round and two seasonal options, the suds are still tried-and-true. You won’t find the same old chicken wings, because they’ve evolved into buffalo-chicken spring rolls. The steaks won’t strike fear into any of the city’s legendary steakhouses, but they are juicy, tender and prepared your way. Be forewarned: For the added quality, you’ll pay as much as $10 more for dinner here than at other locations.
