Description
The menu’s North Indian dishes are familiar, but the cooks consistently keep them fresh and delicious—something that shinier, pricier midtown competitors often fail to do. Sitar also has bargains: lunch and dinner buffets and a $6.95 lunch box to go. The dining room, adorned with the requisite silk tapestries and a sitar, is uninspired, but the waiters compensate with their charm and solicitude.
