Description
After moving to swankier digs, Marcus Samuelsson’s haute Swedish flagship is more inviting than ever. In the casual café, the Stockholm-bred chef turns out pristine Nordic home cooking, including classics like lemony gravlax with mustard. In the main dining room, a temple of haute cooking lurking past the long, sultry bar, you’ll find some of the city’s most innovative seafood—hot-smoked trout, milk-poached halibut—along with rather dazzling terrestrial fare. Don’t leave without sampling a house-infused aquavit—the bracing horseradish is a sinus-clearing delight.

Mon–Sat noon–2:15pm, 5:30–10:30pm; Sun noon–2:30pm, 5:30–10:30pm.
