Although its nabe is Curry Hill, this pretty little café and wine bar cranks out BLTs, chicken potpies and peanut-butter blondies. Homespun sandwiches and salads dominate the menu. The soup of the day is listed on a chalkboard and served with chunks of good, earthy bread; the skins are left on the hand-cut french fries. If Mom’s Spinach Pie was a touch soggy, or the mac and cheese was a big bowl of bland, that’s okay because, as the menu brags, everything was made “with a whole lotta love.”
