Description
In a city where the words Mexican food can still conjure up images of cheddar-topped nachos, Richard Sandoval’s seafoodcentric eatery offers a welcome departure. The chef combines the flavors of coastal Mexico with European technique, resulting in exquisite modern fare. Impeccably fresh tuna steak is complemented by a sharp cilantro-ginger pico de gallo, and black bass in a tomato-chipotle sauce deftly balances sweetness and smoke. Definitely leave your sombrero at home.
