Description
Two Peter Luger defectors (yes, there are more) have taken over the dining room in the Dylan Hotel and are serving the very same dinner menu we have come to see at other offshoots, plus breakfast and lunch. Co-owners A. Benjamin Prelvukaj and chef Arturo McLeod make no obvious attempt to put their stamp on the dishes, but no one dining at a midtown steakhouse expects innovation anyway: The claws on the enormous four-pound lobster are as large as a grown mans fists, and the dish is priced accordingly, at $90. McLeod keeps the dry-aged USDA Prime options to a minimum: porterhouse, sirloin, rib eye or filet mignon. The prices are high, so bring lots of Benjamins.
