Description
After a series of false starts (three departed toques, including Top Chef Sam Talbot), Spitzers has finally gotten it right. Former March chef Wayne Nish overhauled the once-tepid menu, installing sophisticated gastropub eats like a smoky short-rib burger slathered with hickory sauce and barbecued onions, and a foie gras terrine with fresh pomegranate sauce, studded with pistachios and red peppercorns. Ease into a seat at one of several communal tables and revel in the extensive beer menu, featuring 40 brews on tap, such as cult faves Rogue and Unibroue.
