Description
A gorgeous chandelier, lizard-skin banquettes and plush retro booths underline the 1940s inspiration behind this AvroKO-designed tri-level restaurant. The decor, however, does not steal the show: Chris Santos (Suba, Wyanoka) turns out 40 wildly inventive shareable plates, like a French-onion soup that comes in dumpling form and red-snapper tacos lavished with fiery mango-and-avocado salsa. Don’t be deterred by the wait—you’ll get in...eventually.

  Be careful if you go there at night, there is a violent bouncer (his name is James) who was very aggresive to me and my friends. This man spitted on me, screaming rude words. We spoke to the manager who was not helpful at all. I don´t think this man will be reprimented in any manner but I ask the customers to please be aware of this situation. I used to like this place for brunch, but I will never go back after what happened to me. This man was violent and could easily hurt someone.
