Description
The meat loaf at this down-home, quasi-Cajun joint is the stuff childhood memories are made of—if all your good memories come doused in gravy or juiced up with hot sauce. Do what the blues-rock crowd does: Load your table with sweet-potato fries, cayenne-spiked corn on the cob, oyster and catfish po’boys, the appropriately named “big bowls” of jambalaya, and “big plates” of barbecued chicken and ribs. Then pass the paper napkins, knock back some tequila or a round of the Acme Red house brew, and have another happy childhood.
