Description
This favorite among Greenpoints locals threatens to edge out the competition. The interior is sophisticated (beige banquettes and rotating art shows), the ingredients are quality (fresh tuna from Tobago, for instance, is coated with coriander, seared and tossed into a salad), and the cook, Top Chef contestant Camille Becerra, is a minor celebrity. Refined meals include tender braised lamb shank over beet-infused polenta, and a toothsome duck confit with braised red cabbage and cheddar-leek popovers. Colicchio would be proud.

this place is top notch! chefs from La Esquina in SoHo and sophisticated dishes on par with the best restaurants in Manhattan. I've had out of body experiences with some dishes here (especially the herb goat cheese salad when accompanied by the raisin bread) A little unpredictable on the staple menu items but well worth going back repeatedly for the gratifying specials.
I really like this place; since Camille was on Top Chef they've been offering a slate of daily specials. Last night I had really good bacon-wrapped nectarines served with a salad top with blue cheese. So good!
