Description
This burgers-and-fries joint opened, perhaps not ideally, in the wake of Morgan Spurlock’s stomach-turning documentary, Super Size Me. But the New York Burger Co. is different. Burgers are made from Coleman Natural Beef and loaded with top-notch ingredients like applewood-smoked bacon and mango salsa. Although the place doesn’t purport to sell health food, it does offer turkey, veggie and chicken burgers, plus smoothies made with real berries and frozen yogurt. You can supersize your meal, and it won’t wreck your liver: The Big Deal is any burger plus fries and a large soda, or a small salad and bottled water.

Mon–Fri 11am–10pm; Sat noon–9pm; Sun noon–8pm.
