Description
We thought we knew what to expect from an Irish bar. Then we got a gander at Lunasa and saw the future of Celtic pubs: minimalist decor dominated by a sleek wooden bar, a verdant back garden and a notable absence of shamrock paraphernalia. Disparate small plates further distinguish this watering hole and include chicken skewers; crisp vegetarian spring rolls; and thin, grilled pizzas. Faithful to their birthplace, owners Patrick Byrne and Gavin Whiston imported a state-of-the-art Irish compression system to pull drafts, which they say makes for a perfect pint of Guinness.

Mon–Thu 4–11pm; Fri 4pm–midnight; Sat, Sun noon–midnight.
