Description
Butcher-paper menus do extra duty as place mats and bread-basket lining, tables are spaced tightly, and the music is cranked to an intolerable volume. Nawab has added American touches like hamburgers and chicken potpie to the menu, along with a few twists: Foie gras terrine comes lathered with foamy lemon curd, while Berkshire pork medallionsare paired with peppercorn-studded sauerkraut. Desserts are less surprising — steer clear of the middling sticky toffee pudding.
