Description
Pizzaiolo Anthony Mangieri’s simple pies easily rival the city’s best, and have sent pizza freaks back to counters all over town to sort out who’s on top. Mangieri might end up winning the battle with his bravado alone: He refuses to use anything but the best tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil and garlic as toppings, and he’s open when he feels like being open, roughly from 5pm until the dough’s gone Thursday through Sunday.
