Description
There’s nothing bourgeois about the industrial metal steps down to this East Village wine-and-fondue spot. But inside, ornate mirrors and antique chairs give the tiny red-lit space a decidedly decadent feel. Trendy locals snack on tasty bruschette or bubbling cheese fondue—the raclette is extremely good—served with heaps of assorted breads, crudités and fresh fruit for dipping. The brief wine list is well chosen and prices are halved during the daily happy hour (3–7pm) and all night on Mondays and Tuesdays. At those prices, it’s easy to make a pig of yourself.

A rat infested pigsty. I'd rather have my head bashed in with an axe in Mexico, than set foot in there again.
I tried to meet my husband here, but the owner Ravi Derossi first wouldn't let me enter until he finished a cell phone call, then called me a "bitch" when I told him we were leaving because he had been so rude. Obviously, we won't be back.
Nice place, romantic, soft music and a warm vibe. Great service, very friendly staff, waiter recommended a fantastic glass of wine. Went on a friday, will definately go back on Mon - Tues for 1/2 price specials.
