Epistrophy

Jazz trumpeter Luca Fadda and his wife, Giorgia Zedda, are taking an improvisational approach to their wine bar, Epistrophy, named after the Thelonious Monk song. It’s a work-in-progress with inexpensive wines—mostly from Italy—available by the glass, carafe or bottle. By late winter, the kitchen and a new stage designed for musical performances should be ready. The arty crowd, which is already gathering to munch on cheese and olives, will also be able to partake of European-style breakfasts (coffee and croissants), light lunches (salad, soup and panini) and daily pasta specials.
