Description
Cocktails and cruising fuel the nonstop scene in the spare white dining room of this Chelsea mainstay. Cafeteria feeds fashionistas and the requisite wanna-bes with a roster of down-home favorites. There are three versions of mac and cheese—the traditional is nearly perfect, with a crunchy top and loads of gooey fontina—and gravy-heavy meat loaf with tomato-and-red-pepper relish makes you wish Mom’s cooking was this good. If you’re on a liquid diet, skip the dining room altogether and head for the tiny basement bar.

This place kicks ass! Went here this weekend after a night out dancing. Had to wait a bit online to get inside but once we got in we were seated right away. My friends and I were pretty loaded so we were dying for some good drunk food! I got the mac and cheese (awesome!) and a burger. Exactly what I needed! Our waiter was sooo cute and fun, we had a blast! I also had a mojito with raspberries, perfect finish to the night!! Def go if you want a good time late night!
LOVE this place. It's been there for 10 years and just keeps getting better. Love the food and the adorable staff. You've gotta try the cocktails too.
Cocktails and food was great. Love the atmosphere and I will be Back.... Highly recommend and breakfast is a must try.
Used to eat here - will never return. There was a clipped fingernail in my drink that came up my straw and went into my mouth! They did not comp the meal (just apps & drinks). This was so gross (imagine all the places fingernails scratch) and they did not care AT ALL. The manager's response after we asked to see him (he did not come out on his own): "That was weird, huh?! " He behaved like he didn't believe that it happened. That kind of disregard need not be rewarded.
