Time Out New York is seeking a Marketing Coordinator, who will report directly to the Marketing Director. This person will be responsible for managing consumer promotions and executing client merchandising for both Time Out New York (TONY) and Time Out Kids print and digital products. The Marketing Coordinator will also manage house ads, magazine orders, reprints and administrative functions for the Marketing Department
Core Responsibilities:
• Creation of the ‘Get This’ page and execution of all related promotions
• Creation of multiple weekly e-newsletters
• Execution of multiple promotions on an ongoing basis
• Creation and maintenance of merchandising one-sheets
• Tracking and fulfillment of client merchandising
• Routing of marketing materials, as needed
• Content management of online marketing and promotions pages
• Management of the TONY ‘Free Flix’ and ‘Free Stuff’ consumer programs
• Sourcing TONY promotional premium items, as needed
• Assisting the Marketing Director, as needed
Professional Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of marketing experience, in a full-time or internship capacity
• BA or BS, preferably within Sales, Advertising or Marketing disciplines
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
• Professional phone manner and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to represent within a strong, collaborative team environment
• Passionate about and familiar with NYC and it’s arts and entertainment scene
Technical Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of HTML
• Basic knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator or other design software
• Proficiency in MAC
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
