Assistant Web Editor – Part-time

Time Out New York (TONY) seeks a part-time Assistant Web Editor to be an integral part of our Editorial team. This person will have an annual salary plus access to our benefits plan.

Candidates must:

• Possess 1-2 years of previous writing/editorial internship or job experience, as this person will write for feature packages and blogs
• Have 1-2 years of familiarity with blogging programs, and MacOS, HTML/XML, and CMS. All noted technologies are REQUIRED.
• Understand the TONY brand, its tone, and its nuances.
• Be a thorough researcher and fact-checker.
• Have a solid understanding of life and culture in NYC.
• Be a voracious consumer of online media.
• Be available to work Monday through Wednesday, all day.
