Alaska House sale
Description
Remember that state way up by Canada and Russia? Well it’s still up there and it’s home to plenty of artists. Alaska House, a nonprofit organization and shop dedicated to improving the economic well-being of Alaskan artists, is celebrating its one-year anniversary by discounting its unique handmade goods, including parkas, gloves, boots, slippers, jewelry and more. You’ll find ivory beaded necklaces, chipped from $400 to $300; fleece-lined beaded gloves for $187 (were $250); and moose-hide moccasins (that Sarah Palin would love!) for $225 (as opposed to $300).
