Had a really good time at Rebel Night, no "rockabilly scene" pretensions of dressing right, dancing right, etc. Just bring a good attitude and be ready to have fun. Great 50's rock n' roll records spun in a tiki themed bar, I haven't had this much fun at a rockabilly show in a long time!
I second the two previous comments. Rocked out on a Friday night and one week later still trying to recover. It's a cool place and GREAT DJs. Rebel night is highly recommended. I will return!
I Love Rebel Night! The music is killer, the crowd is great...no "hipster" snob attitude. This is a place where people can dance and drink and go wild. The DJ are amazing, and totally get the crowd going! I highly recommend it!
Holy crap! I've been to New York a few times and I've never had such a wild night. I've been to LA rockabilly shows before (because I live there) and everyone is all about their vintage fashion show, there it was all about being a rock n roll deviant. There was dancing, screaming, ass slapping and beer splashing everywhere. I'd definitely plan another NYC trip just to make the next Rebel Night. Thanks June, Sae & Kick, you guys definitely know how to rock n roll.
