The Indelicates speak to a certain strain of U.K. underground pop from the ’80s, where everyone seemed so fucking smart and stylish (see, like, the entire El catalog—Bad Dream Fancy Dress reunion, anyone?). This group picks up the flag, the torch and whatever else that scene left laying about, writing biting social commentaries and setting them off in snappy pop vehicles.
