Hard to believe that it’s been over a quarter century since Japanese indie-popsters Shonen Knife unveiled their influential, infectious bubble-punk. The ever-upbeat trio, with founding singer-guitarist Naoko Yamano joined by a newish rhythm section, is currently in the midst of its longest-ever U.S. tour, supporting its snappy album Super Group.
