Description
Chuck Davis oversees “Rhythmic Reflection: African Legacies Revealed” as part of the annual DanceAfrica festival. The program showcases Ronald K. Brown’s Evidence; Washington D.C.’s percussion and dance ensemble Farafina Kan; and the New York group SeeWe African Dance Company, led by former Les Ballets Africaines principal dancer Mouminatou Camara. There will also be young performers from the BAM/Restoration DanceAfrica Ensemble. For shoppers, the DanceAfrica Bazaar will be held from Sat 23 through Mon 25 in the parking lots at Lafayette Avenue and Ashland Place.
