A 25-piece automated orchestra performs notorious “bad boy” composer George Antheil’s Ballet Mécanique in conjunction with a film by Fernand Léger and Dudley Murphy. The concert follows a benefit performance of Frequency Hopping, an Elyse Singer play concerning a 1940 collaboration between Antheil and Hedy Lamarr on a secret communication system.
