Description
The Western Wind Vocal Ensemble presents Bar La Barca, a program pairing two madrigal comedies composed 400 years apart: Adriano Banchieri’s Barca di Venetia per Padova, from 1605, and Eric Salzman’s Jukebox in the Tavern of Love, commissioned by Western Wind, composed last year and inspired by Banchieri’s work.
