Description
Unfussy, warm and welcoming, Preston “Skip” Stahly’s annual new-music celebration at the Flea is well worth investigating, and this year’s edition looks especially impressive. Kicking things off is Clarice Jensen’s American Contemporary Music Ensemble (ACME), which plays Jefferson Friedman’s String Quartet No. 3 and works by Nico Muhly, Caleb Burhans and Ryan Streber.
