Don Juan
Description
The National Theater of the United States of America’s silly, seductive Don Juan unfolds on low-budget jewel-box sets that are half ironic, half expressions of a nostalgic longing for theatrical magic. This condensed, tongue-in-cheek version of Molière’s 1665 tragicomedy, arranged by James Stanley and Normandy Sherwood, was cobbled together from every translation available. The spirit of textual mongrelism extends to the catch-as-catch-can performances, which are daffy, eclectic, overwrought and tossed-off. But the actors (including Yehuda Duenyas as the legendary lothario) somehow turn the lack of unifying style into an affectionate homage.—David Cote

This was one fabulous and fun show. Totally creative and exciting to watch. Great performances. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Too bad there are so few seats that it will limit the number of guests that are able to see it...rush to get your ticket!
