The Wisdom That Men Seek
Description
**** [FOUR STARS] Charming and unpretentious, "The Wisdom That Men Seek" is the story of one man’s relationship with his father, and the complex relationships that we all have with people who are long gone. Writer and director Robert Liebowitz sends his characters back and forth in time in a seamless progression that feels like organic storytelling rather than affected cleverness; and while weaving the father-son story, he also reminds us that New York City was once a place of thriving working-class Jewish culture. Although the ending wraps up a little too neatly, this show is definitely worth seeking out.—Shauna Cagan, Production Coordinator

I am a fan of The Fringe Festival and this is one of their finest! A top-notch play with powerful performance.
A play anyone who has been a parent or a child can relate to - Leibowitz is one of NY's great, unsung playwrights.
I attended a reading of The Wisdom that Men Seek which was stunning. i can not attend this full production, but you'll not want to miss the sophisticated study of the human experience.
Just loved it. Be prepared to be moved. Michael Roucco is a name that you will be hearing again. What a great up and coming young actor!
Saw this play Sunday and absolutely loved it, the father is fantastic, I actually knew people like him. right on target. All the actors were great and the writing was wonderful. Really worth more than my $15.00 ticket.
