Description
Before going on indefinite hiatus in 2006, Massachusetts’s Cave In walked the thin line between riffy metalcore and iffy emo, ably matching melody, brains and brawn. Earlier this year, the band announced a surprise reunion EP, Planets of Old, as well as a string of East Coast dates. Given Cave In’s stature among the hardcore community, it’s not surprising to see it team up with a pair of buzzier bands for this Knitting Factory appearance. Get there early to catch the Swedish death-metal-meets-grindcore of Trap Them and the intercontinental Narrows, which features members of Unbroken, These Arms Are Snakes and the much-revered Botch.When
