Description
A bit more proactive than your average book club, this excellent monthly event asks songwriters to read a novel and then pen a few original songs about the work for a monthly concert. Tonight’s participants will be riffing on Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species—it’s the book’s 150th anniversary—and performers include Susan Hwang, Dave Novak and Franz Nicolay. There will be amusingly themed snackage on hand as well. Really, what more could you ask for? Free entry? Done.When
