Description
Matt (Johnson, on synths and vocals) and Kim (Schifino, on drums) specialize in sprightly, anthemic indie pop spiked with punk. It’s not the hippest of sounds, but the duo has managed to win legions of young fans with its adorably unpretentious onstage rapport. Matt and Kim recently unveiled a new full-length, Grand (Fader Label), which flirts with lush production values while retaining a scrappy infectiousness.
