Description
Northside Festival. Sunset Rubdown is a Montreal band featuring Wolf Parade’s Spencer Krug. The band bounces between straight-up ’60s pop and stranger West Coasty sounds. The quartet’s Jagjaguwar debut, Random Spirit Lover, was one of 2007’s best. Its new one, Dragonslayer, may not be quite as complete but still fires off its patented brand of screechy anthems, capped off with the ten-minute-plus epic “Dragon’s Lair.”When
