The Rural Alberta Advantage + La Strada + Chris Mills + The Black Hollies
Description
When listening to Hometowns, the debut from Toronto trio Rural Alberta Advantage, it’s hard not to think of Neutral Milk Hotel. Expect a rousing show and lots of RAA fans: EMusic chose the band for its Selects program, Hometowns became its most downloaded album in history and, as a result, the band just got signed to indie powerhouse Saddle Creek for a rerelease. Also on the bill is La Strada (which pretties up its Dylanesque folk songs with accordion and strings), Brooklyn-by-way-of-Chicago troubadour Chris Mills and the Black Hollies, a garage-rock band featuring members of Rye Coalition.
