“Piecing It Together: Immigrants in the Garment Industry”
Description
This hour-long tour visits the re-created 1897 apartment–garment shop run by the Polish Levine family and the 1918 apartment of the Rogarshevsky family, who are mourning the loss of their patriarch, Abraham. Along the way, you’ll hear about the lives of European, Asian and Latino immigrants who worked in the garment industry. Tours run every 30 minutes.
