Craig Shepard is best known for a 2005 project in which he spent 31 days walking across Switzerland, stopping to write and perform a new piece at 6pm each day. (The trumpeter-composer chronicled his journey in a spare, elegant book, On Foot, issued last year.) Here Shepard helms a small ensemble in a performance that will incorporate ambient sounds from the street outside the venue.When
